An overview of the Zama Developer Program

Introduction

The Zama Developer Program is an initiative that empowers developers to master the Zama Protocol and build confidential decentralized applications (dApps), while unlocking exclusive rewards including branded swag, direct access to our VC network, and strategic advantages for launching their own Zama Protocol-based startups.

💛 Each month features a competition where the best app created wins additional monetary rewards.

The Zama Developer Program is currently in BETA.

The requirements and rewards will be iterated based on participant feedback.

This program is designed for developers and engineers. If you are not a developer, you will not benefit from participating.

How it works

• Participation

  • Connect your wallet and GitHub via Guild to join the program.

  • Complete the tasks to earn roles and progress to the "Level 4 Champion" by submitting a valid dApp demo using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).

• Timeline of the monthly competition

  • Program period: Starts at 00:00 AOE on the 1st of each month and ends at 23:59 AOE on the last day of the month.

  • Reviewing: The Zama team reviews submissions during the first week of the following month.

• Rewards

  • By the end of each month, the Zama team will select the 5 best projects to share a reward pool.

  • These 5 projects will also be opened to community voting, and the most-voted project will receive an additional “Community Choice” reward.

Beta tester requirements

To ensure eligibility, you are required to hold at least 0.1 ETH or 250 USDC in your wallet. See details here.

If you’re a legitimate developer and have trouble meeting all the requirements, please highlight @Zama Mod in the #chat channel with your info. We’ll verify your profile and may manually assign you the role so you can access the tech support channel. Note that this role is only for support access, not for completing Guild tasks.
